Itaewon Global Village Center, together with the Korean Food Promotion Institute, is hosting a Korean cooking class on March 29, 2025 (Sat) from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at Hansik Space Eum (near Anguk Station). This time we will be learning how to make 쑥설기 케이크 (Mugwort Rice Cake).

In celebration of Women's Month, Itaewon Global Village Center is offering this class for foreign women working in Korea who cannot join our classes during the weekdays. Hansik Space Eum chose Mugwort Rice Cake because mugwort offers various health benefits for women. Mugwort has been used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of conditions that affect women, including irregular menstruation, menstrual cramps, and anxiety.

FOOD ALLERGY WARNING: (*Please take note of these ingredients before signing-up for the class. Hansik Space Eum WILL NOT make any changes on the recipe.) The ingredients that will be used for this class is as follows: Non-glutinous rice flour, mugwort powder, sugar, salt, white bean paste, mascarpone cheese, whipped cream, injeolmi powder (soybean powder), butter, flour, eggs, baking powder

The participation fee for this class is 11,000 won. Advanced payment for the class is REQUIRED. I will email you all the details (including payment details) once you have completed the registration.

**NOTE: 11,000won is for the ingredients ONLY. Teacher's fees, etc., are sponsored by Korea Food Promotion Institute.
