20260204_Cooking Class: Tuna Kimbap & Eomuk Tang (어묵탕)
Itaewon Global Village Center, together with Korean Food Promotion Institute, is hosting a Korean cooking class on February 4th (Wed) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Hansik Space Eum (near Anguk Station). This time we will learn how to make Tuna Kimbap and Oemuk Tang.
Tuna kimbap is a popular Korean dish made by rolling seasoned rice, tuna mixed with mayonnaise, and fresh vegetables in sheets of dried seaweed. It is a simple, flavorful, and satisfying meal often enjoyed as a snack, picnic food, or light lunch. Also, we are going to learn how to make "Eomuk Tang (어묵탕) or Fish Cake Soup". It consists of sliced or skewered eomuk (fish cake) simmered in a light, savory broth typically made from kelp (dashima) and dried anchovies. The soup is usually seasoned simply to highlight the natural flavor of the fish cake.
