Chuseok Lantern Making Class

On Thursday, September 22nd, 2:00-4:00 pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold, the “Chuseok Lantern Making Class” at the National Folk Museum of Korea which is located near Anguk subway station. This class is not only about making a lantern but to learn about 추석(Chuseok), a traditional Korean holiday like Thanksgiving.

추석 (Chuseok) is a national holiday celebrating bountiful harvest every fall. There are traditions and customs of Chuseok which we will learn in the class.

In this class, participants will make a Chuseok paper lantern (size: 23cm in height, 16*20cm wide) with a handle.

This activity is free of charge, but you should register to join. You can sign up in person or by email only. (*Only Foreigners can join this program.)
