Kimchi Making Class

On Friday, November 4th, 2-4 pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold, the “Kimchi Making Class” at the National Folk Museum of Korea which is located near Anguk subway station. This class is not only about making Kimchi but to learn about 김장(Kimjang), the winter custom of making Kimchi.

Kimjang is the traditional process of preparation and preservation of Kimchi, the spicy Korean fermented vegetable dish in the wintertime. Participants will learn about the historical background of Kimjang and they can actually have the opportunity to make Kimchi and pack it home. All the details will be sent to you after registration.

This activity is free of charge, but you should register to join. You can sign up in person or by email only. (*Only Foreigners can join this program.)
