Itaewon Global Village Center will hold the “Pilates Course for Beginners.”
● Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday / 6 times (July 28th – August 13th, 2026)
● Time: 2:00–3:00 PM
● Venue: Studio near Sookmyung Women’s University Station (숙대입구역 인근)
● Fee: 40,000KRW (for the entire course)
● Capacity: Maximum 11 people
● Contents: This program is a guided wellness stretching course that combines rhythmic, music-based movement with band and mat exercises to improve overall body balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. The sessions include a variety of full-body stretching and strengthening activities designed to support gradual conditioning, proper alignment, and overall well-being in an engaging and enjoyable way.
● Notes (*Important):
- Please bring your own yoga mat.
- Yoga bands (valued at approximately 12,000 KRW) will be provided through a group purchase and given to each participant for personal use. Participants will keep them after the course. There is no extra fee will be added.

Itaewon Global Village Center will hold the “1:1 FREE TAX CONSULTATION in English” collaborating with Yongsan Tax Office.
● Date: July 7, 2026 (Tuesday)
● Time: 3-5PM (You will be assigned a specific time slot among this time)
*1:1 Consultation (By Reservation Only)

● Eligibility: Foreign income earners and small business owners
● Capacity: 4-5 people (30 minutes per person)
● Contents: This program is organized in cooperation with the Yongsan Tax Office, and a certified tax accountant will be available on-site to provide professional tax consultations. The consultation can cover the following topics: Taxpayer rights and tax-related issues, Business registration & closure, Tax invoices & cash receipts, Home tax services & e-filing and Income tax & VAT. Please note that the tax accountant can provide professional advice and guidance, but cannot file your tax return on your behalf as an authorized representative.

20260715_Hanyang Alleyway Tour
On July 15, 2026 (Wednesday) from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Itaewon Global Village will be visiting the Gongpyeong Historic Sites Museum, Located at Jonggak Station, Exit 3-1(It’s an indoor tour!).
Established in 2018, the Gongpyeong Historic Sites Museum is a unique historical landmark dedicated to preserving Seoul’s ancient alleyways and building sites, spanning from Joseon-era Hanyang to modern-day Gyeongseong. Discovered during an urban renewal project in 2015, this beautifully preserved on-site museum allows visitors to explore over 1,000 artifacts of daily life and walk through actual centuries-old paths in the heart of the city.
During this guided tour, participants will begin by exploring the beautifully restored 16th to 17th-century cultural layer. Following the introduction, we will visit the three core highlights of the museum—the Grand House in Jeon-dong, the '□'-shaped House, and the Small House inside Imunan-gil—sharing the historical significance of the grounds

20260717_Upcycled Scrunchie Making Volunteer Work
Itaewon Global Village Center is recruiting volunteers for the Upcycled Scrunchie Making Volunteer Work. This activity will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gangnam-gu Volunteer Center, located near Seonjeongneung Station Exit 4(Line 9).
This is a hands-on volunteering work where we turn fabric scraps into beautiful new hair scrunchies. In this workshop, participants will learn the value of resource recirculation by giving discarded materials a second life, while practicing the joy of sharing.
All handmade scrunchies will be donated and used for upcoming ESG campaigns. Come express your creativity and make a positive impact on the environment!
Please note that this activity involves sewing and is open to adults only

20260721&28_따스한채움터 Soup Kitchen for the Homeless Volunteering
Itaewon Global Village is looking for volunteers as a way to serve our Korean community. Below is a volunteer opportunity available that you might be interested in:
2026 July 21st and 28th (both Tuesdays) from 10:30 to 12:30
따스한채움터 (Dasseuhan) offers free lunch and dinner to about 100-200 homeless people. They are managed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Red Cross Korea. For this volunteer activity, volunteers will be divided into three groups:
1. Food distribution team - since this requires knowledge on Korean food culture and some Korean speaking, those who have done food distribution and those who speak Korean will be prioritized. 4 volunteers will be assigned to this team.
2. Serving team - 4 volunteers will be in charge of getting the food tray from the front line and serving them to the tables where the homeless people are seated.
3. Dishwashing team - food trays will be washed and volunteers will need to wipe the food trays (Korean language ability is not needed)

Itaewon Global Village Center will hold “Hanji Hanbok Craft Workshop”

Experience Korean traditional culture in a beautiful Hanok (traditional Korean house) while creating your own Hanbok-themed craft using Hanji, Korea’s traditional handmade paper.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of Hanji and Hanbok, two important elements of Korean heritage. Guided by an instructor, you will create a decorative Hanbok craft using colorful Hanji paper and traditional crafting techniques.
At the end of the session, you will take home your handmade Hanbok craft as a special souvenir and a lasting memory of Korean culture.
The participation fee is 20,000won for material fee. Payment should be made in advance. Specific details will be sent to you after we have received your registration. To register, email us your name, nationality and phone number.

20260723_Seodaemun Seniors' English Club Volunteering
Itaewon Global Village Center will help out at the Seodaemun Senior Welfare Center on July 23, 2026 (Thurs) from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. We are looking for volunteers that can join us that day.
Seniors who have been attending Seodaemun Senior Welfare Center has requested Itaewon GVC to gather volunteers who can help them improve their English speaking skills as well as boost their confidence when speaking English language. Hence, they are looking for 15-20 volunteers.
By volunteering, you will be able to help them practice their English speaking skills. You don’t need to be a native English speaker to join. (BUT OF COURSE, THE ABILITY TO CONVERSE IN ENGLISH FLUENTLY IS REQUIRED.) Don’t worry if you cannot speak Korean.
Open to FOREIGN volunteers aged 18 years old and above.

20260724_Lime Makgeolling Making Class
Itaewon Global Village Center will hold “Lime Makgeolli (Sweet Rice Wine) Making Class” which will be led by the Institute of Korean Makgeolli Association.

One of the well known Korean traditional wine is made of rice. Since rice is a staple in Korea, it is only very apt for them to make wine out of it. Through this class, you will be learning culture and history of makgeolli and how to make Lime makgeolli.
FOOD ALLERGY WARNING: Below are the basic ingredients that will be used in this class: - Lime, rice, water, malt, refined malt (Please take note of the ingredients before joining. We WILL NOT change or substitute any ingredient.)
As part of the experience, you will have time to make one bottle of Lime makgeolli. Participants will be bringing home unfermented makgeolli which means you will have to do the fermentation at home. Fermentation will take about 2 weeks. Hence, this class is NOT suitable for participants who will be travelling. Tourists who are planning to bring the unfermented makgeolli home is also not recommended to join the class as you won’t be able to bring the unfermented makgeolli in the airplane.
