20260130_Step-by-Step Painting Class
On January 30, 2026 (Fri) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Itaewon Global Village Center will be hosting a Step-by-Step Painting Class. For this class, participants will be learning how to paint a scenery: horizon of the sea using acrylic paint.
Did you know? Traditionally, Koreans go to the sea during New Year (particularly January 1st) to watch the first sunrise of the year. In Korean culture, the first sunrise symbolizes new beginnings, hope, and renewal. People believe that starting the year by seeing the sun rise brings good luck, health, and success for the year ahead. Coastal areas provide a clear, unobstructed view of the horizon, making them ideal for this ritual. This is the reason why, for the first month of 2026, we are going to paint the sunrise.
Since this is a step-by-step class, it is beginner friendly and is recommended to those who would just like to explore their artistic side.
The participation fee for this class is 20,000 won/ participant. Advance payment is required. I will email you all the details (including payment details) once you have completed the registration. To register, complete the form through this link: https://bit.ly/painting_jan2026
