Korean Food Promotion and Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Duck Bulgogi Cooking Class” on Thursday, May 2nd from 3:00-5:00 pm.

"Duck Bulgogi" or 오리불고기 in Korean is a stir-fried duck meat in bulgogi sauce. Bulgogi is one of Korea's traditional dishes where meat is marinated in either soy sauce-based sauce or gochujang (red pepper paste) -based sauce. For this class, we will be learning both marinades and how to stir-fry the duck meat correctly.

**FOOD ALLERGY WARNING: The basic ingredients that will be used in this class are as follows:
duck meat, Korean chives, mushroom, onions, carrots, soy sauce, sugar, green onions, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, pepper, sesame seeds, gochujang, gochukaru (red pepper powder)

An instructor will demonstrate the step-by-step process of how to make the sauces, cook the duck meat, and so on. After the demonstration, all participants will have the chance to make their duck bulgogi. You don’t need to bring anything, everything, including a to-go box, apron, etc. will be prepared by the institution.

This class will be held near Anguk Station (Line 3). You will need to pay 11,000won of participation fee in advance. Once you register, specific details, including basic ingredients, etc. will be sent to you. To register, email us your name, nationality, and phone number.
