Korean Language Classes
Cultural Activities & Living in Seoul seminars
To foster and help foreign residents settle in Korea, Itaewon GVC offers free Korean Lanugage Classes 4 times a year. Levels that we provide are basically from Absolute Beginner to Intermediate levels. Registration for new semester begins at every quarter before the semester starts.
​Through various cultural activities, like cooking, craft making, painting, etc., and various seminars, Itaewon GVC aims to help foreign residents adjust in their new home in Seoul. Our goal is to foster understanding of Korean culture and help them integrate into the society by giving information that are essential for foreign residents to know and in between, create friendships among foreign residents.
Volunteer Activities
Volunteer programs are set-up to help foreign residents interact with the locals while giving back to the society. Itaewon GVC has been volunteering at different organizations and welfare centers in Seoul, particularly Yongsan.
Healthy Itaewon
World Health Day is celebrated annually on the 7th of April to mark the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948. Each year the United Nations select a theme to highlight a priority in public health. In line with this, the Itaewon Global Village Center celebrates World Health Month every month of April by providing various opportunities for foreign residents in Seoul to get involved in activities that can lead to better health, Itaewon GVC will be offering various programs related to health.
Clean & Green Itaewon
Clean and Green Itaewon is an initiative by Itaewon GVC to promote environment awareness and at the same time commemorate the World Environment Day which is celebrated on June 5th. Starting June of every year, Itaewon GVC will offer various activities related to the environment, may it be seminars, cultural activities, and so on. The goal is to inspire foreign residents into leading an environment-friendly lifestyle.
Woman-up Itaewon
In celebration of the "International Women's Day" (March 8th), Itaewon GVC offers various programs in relation to women and to help foreign residents know their rights as women.
