20260609_Seoul National Cemetery Tour
On June 9, 2026 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Itaewon Global Village will be visiting the Seoul National Cemetery (Located at Dongjak Station, Exit 4).
Established in 1955, Seoul National Cemetery is a sacred historical landmark dedicated to the heroes and patriots who sacrificed their lives for Korea’s freedom and peace. Today, it serves as a beautifully preserved, open memorial park where visitors can honor the nation's history, explore major historical monuments, and experience peaceful, scenic grounds in the heart of the city.
During this guided tour, participants will begin by tributing at the Memorial Tower. Following the tribute, we visit the major gravesites of the cemetery, sharing the historical significance of the grounds. The tour will also include observing the Military Honor Guard Ceremony, which features the Guard Mounting Ceremony and a professional demonstration of military precision.
*Please note that the itinerary includes a formal paying of respects at the Memorial Tower. If this group tribute makes you uncomfortable due to personal, cultural, or religious reasons, we kindly suggest skipping this particular event.
*The Honor Guard performance may be canceled in the event of rain or official government functions.
The tour is free of charge but registration is a must. Once you have completed the registration, specific details will be sent to you.
