Itaewon Global Village Center will hold the “The Journey from Cotton to Thread” collaborating with Yongsan Family Park.

● Date: September 10th (Thursday), 2026
● Time: 10:30–11:30 AM (It could extend maximum until 12PM)
● Venue: Yongsan Family Park (용산가족공원)
● Fee: Free of charge
● Eligibility: International Residents / Tourists
● Capacity: Maximum 20 people / Limited seats (First-come, first-served)
● Contents: Experience the traditional Korean process of making cotton thread, from cultivating cotton and separating the seeds using a traditional Korean cotton gin called Sia to preparing the cotton and spinning the fibers into thread. Participants will be divided into small teams and rotate through each stage of the process, learning about and trying the traditional methods hands-on.
