20261016_FREE Tuberculosis (TB) Screening

Itaewon Global Village Center will hold the “FREE Tuberculosis (TB) Screening.“

● Date: October 16, 2026 (Friday)
● Time: 10:30 AM–11:30 AM
Individual screening times will be assigned. Your exact time will be notified after registration. Please arrive at your assigned time. No screening will be available after 11:30 AM.
● Venue: Itaewon Global Village Center
● Fee: Free of charge
● Eligibility: International residents in Korea
Participants with a Foreign Residence Card must bring their card for identification. Undocumented foreigners may participate with a passport.
● Capacity: Maximum 20 / Limited seats (First-come, first-served)
● Screening: Chest X-ray TB screening
The screening takes approximately 5–10 minutes per person.
● Results: Results will be notified approximately one week after the screening.
Please note that no medical certificate or official test result document will be issued.
● Important Information: If Tuberculosis (TB) is confirmed, the case will be reported through Yongsan-gu Public Health Center to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), and guidance on follow-up and treatment will be provided. Those who cooperate with the required treatment and management will not be reported to immigration authorities solely for this reason. Failure to cooperate with required TB management may result in immigration measures, including possible deportation and entry restrictions.
