The Korean Food Promotion Institute and Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Jeyuk Bokkeum Cooking Class” on Friday, July 7th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Jeyuk Bokkeum (제육볶음) is a dish similar to bulgogi but makes use of thinly sliced pork which is marinated and stir-fried using a gochujang (red chili paste) sauce. It is one of the staple main food in Korean home dishes and is usually paired with different banchans or side dishes. This is a very easy but delicious dish to prepare.
**FOOD ALLERGY WARNING: Basic ingredients that will be used in this class are as follows: pork belly, kimchi, onion, green onion, cooking oil, sesame seed
Marinade: gochujang, soy sauce, jocheong (Korean grain syrup), green onions, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, sesame seed, black pepper
This class will be held at Hansik Space Eeum near Anguk Station (Line3). Participation fee for this class is 11,000KRW. Advance payment is required.
